But I will do my best to get back to you guys and add a review (And maybe another contest...)

Are U 4 Real? By Sara Kadefors

*Summary*
Kyla is exactly the kind of girl Alex could never talk to in real life. She's a gorgeous, outspoken L.A. girl who parties to forget about her absent father and depressed mother. He's a shy ballet dancer from outside San Francisco who's never been kissed. Luckily, when these sixteen-year-olds meet for the first time it's not in real life—it's in a chat room, where they can share their feelings of isolation and frustration away from the conformity-obsessed high school scene. Alex and Kyla quickly forge a friendship that's far from virtual— maybe they're even falling in love. But what happens when the soul mate you've never met moves from online to in person?

My Thoughts:

This is one of my favorite books! I LOVE it!! It was pretty sad. Alex was treated really badly at his school because he was in ballet and all his classmates thought he was gay. They would make fun of him and harass him all day long. I could never be as strong as Alex and ignore the things these kids would say to him. He didn't have anyone to talk to, his mom was pressuring him do be the best in ballet. She did not want him to be distracted and made sure no one was going to ruin her dream for her son. Though Alex loved dancing it was really hard for him to keep going especially when he met Kyla. But he never quit.

Kyla had a pretty hard life also. when she's with her so called friends she acts like she's perfect. She has no real friends to talk to. She's all alone with her depressed mother who stays in bed all day and all night. Her father abandoned her (which is the reason her mother is depressed). Kyla wants to spend time with her mother and she tries really hard to get her mother to notice her. I think thats why she does all these bad things... just for her mother to notice her.

When Alex and Kyla meet (Computer chat room), everything changes. They both become friends... REAL friends. and she tells him everything and he tells her eveything. They IM each other all the time telling the other person about their life. Their lifes start to change slowly.
If you read this book you'll see. Its SO good so PLEASE go and read it ASAP!
Anyways i'm giving this book an...

Teaser Tuesday! (1)

SO I was looking threw peoples blog and Teaser Tuesaday looks SO fun! So here's how it works (According to adventures of cecelia bedelia): Grab your current read and let it fall open to a random page. Post two (or more) sentences from that page, along with the title and author. Don’t give anything vital away!

"Marlene?" she asked the crack. "Are you on fire?"
The door was foomped shut as hard as it could be, which wasn't very hard. The door was a little crooked and didn't shut completley.
"Just tell me if there are actual flames coming off your head," Scarlett said Patiently leaning against the wall.
"Shut Up"

I went a little overboard (I just think this is funny! Lol)

Twenty Boy Summer By Sarah Ockler

*Summary*
"Don't worry, Anna. I'll tell her, okay? Just let me think about the best way to do it.""Okay.""Promise me? Promise you won't say anything?""Don't worry." I laughed. "It's our secret, right?"According to her best friend Frankie, twenty days in Zanzibar Bay is the perfect opportunity to have a summer fling, and if they meet one boy ever day, there's a pretty good chance Anna will find her first summer romance. Anna lightheartedly agrees to the game, but there's something she hasn't told Frankie---she's already had that kind of romance, and it was with Frankie's older brother, Matt, just before his tragic death one year ago.Beautifully written and emotionally honest, this is a debut novel that explores what it truly means to love someone and what it means to grieve, and ultimately, how to make the most of every single moment this world has to offer.

My Thoughts:

(More Random Thoughts) This was a different one. It was very good. I knew I was going to love it! I thought it was going to be way different. But I was wrong... Anyways, I thought it was going to be all about these girls on a hunt for twenty boys. Well, it was kinda like that but different. Haha I make NO sense. There was sadness, happiness and romance and it all tied together perfectly. I liked how there was flashbacks about Anna and Matt, they were very interesting! I feel bad for Anna for having to keep such a big secret from her best friend and to watch how much Frankie has changed since Matt died. Anna tries SO hard to protect Frankie. No one knows how much Matt ment to Anna, they don't know how hard it was for her. It's sad how no one really cared for Anna's feelings, no one really asked her how she was doing. Hopefully you guys read this book and please tell me your opinion!
So, I'm giving this book an...

Why you ask?
Because I couldn't put it down
The cover is Great!
and it made me cry (I know, I'm a baby!)

So I was told that I'm SUPPOSE to do my "In My Mailbox" on Sundays... Well how am I suppose to know? And is it true that I can only host one contest at a time? I don't think so. Well that's what she told me. I was getting very irritated. I got more books yesterday and she was like "That's why your suppose to do the In My Mailbox on Sundays" and she said it out of nowhere! And she never mentioned it to me before. And the way she explains it to me when I ask makes me feel SO stupid. but I don't think she knows that OR maybe that's the point??? Lol, I hope not. Anyways I already posted an In My Mailbox earlier during the week and it was "The Night Gardener By George Pelecanos" and my dad is reading before me. Anyways,
yesterday I got Suite Scarlett By Maureen Johnson and I got Twenty Boy Summer By Sarah Ockler. Im halfway threw with Twenty Boy summer so there will be a review posted up SOON!

*Summary*
When the body of a local teenager is found in a community garden, homicide detective Gus Ramone relives intense memories of a case he worked twenty years earlier. When he was still a rookie, Ramone and his partner Dan "Doc" Holiday assisted legendary detective T.C. Cook as he investigated a series of killings involving young victims left overnight in neighborhood parks. The killer, dubbed, "the Night Gardener," was never caught. Since then, Holiday has left the force under a cloud of morals charges; he now works as a bodyguard and driver, taunted by his dreams of what he might have been. Cook retired, but he has never stopped agonizing about the unsolved case. Ramone is "good police," working as a homicide detective for the city's violent-crime division. He is also a devoted husband and father, and his teenage son, Diego, was a friend of the most recent victim, a boy named Asa." Could the Night Gardener be on the prowl again? Asa's death draws the three men together on a mission to finish the work that has haunted them for years. For T.C. Cook, it means solving one of the few cases that eluded him in his distinguished career. For Doc Holiday, the Night Gardener case is one last chance to prove - to Cook, to Ramone, and to himself - what kind of police officer he once was. For Gus Ramone, catching the killer means not only doing his job but knowing that his son will not be the next victim. The regret, anger, and fierce sense of purpose that once burned between them come rushing back as they race to lay to rest the monster who has stalked their dreams.

I don't get much in my mailbox BUT today I got something!! I got Night Gardener By George Pelecanos!! I will be posting a review about this one soon. I think it sounds good, well I'll tell you if its good or not (remember, My Opinion). Anyways, I'm excited that I got it!

The Rules Of Survival By Nancy Werlin

*Summary*:
For Matt and his sisters, life with their cruel, vicious mother is a day-to-day struggle for survival. But then Matt witnesses Murdoch coming to a child's rescue in a convenience store, and for the first time, he feels a glimmer of hope. When, amazingly, Murdoch begins dating Matt's mother, life is suddenly almost good. But the relief lasts only a short time. When Murdoch inevitably breaks up with their mother, Matt knows he needs to take action. But can he call upon his hero? Or will he have to take measures into his own hands? A heart-wrenching portrait of a family in crisis, this is Nancy Werlin's most compulsively readable novel yet.
My Thoughts:
Let me just say that I am a very emotional person. And this book was very sad. Usually, when your reading a book, you don't want to feel mad and sad. Thats exactly how I felt when I read this book. But it was not that bad. I was mad at the mother for what she did and just the way she treated her children. And I felt so sad for the kids, the way they survived living with their vicious mother. And what they had to put up with her. The whole book is basically a letter from the main character to his little sister telling her what they went threw. She was very little and wouldn't remeber anything. Its just really sad. I know there are worse books out there. I would recommend this to you guys.
I'm gonna give this book a...

Cindy Ella By Robin Palmer

*Summary*:
Prom fever has infected LA-especially Cindy's two annoying stepsisters, and her overly Botoxed stepmother. Cindy seems to be the only one immune to it all. Everyone thinks she's committed social suicide, except for her two best friends, the yoga goddess India and John Hughes-worshipping Malcolm, and shockingly, the most popular senior at Castle Heights High and Cindy's crush, Adam Silver. Suddenly Cindy starts to think that maybe her social life could have a happily ever after. But there's still the rest of the school to deal with. With a little bit of help from an unexpected source and a fabulous pair of heels, Cindy realizes that she still has a chance at a happily ever after.
My Thoughts:
I liked this book. There was only one problem. It was very predictable. Yet I did enjoy reading this one. Im a kind of person who loves surprises. This is not one of those books that really jumps out to you. I knew what
was going to happen at the end. It was pretty obvious. You know what I mean? It's not the best book I have read but its not bad. It was easy and quite enjoyable. I don't want to spoil the book so I'm going to end it here. I will give this book a...

I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have To Kill You by Ally Carter

*Summary*:

Cammie Morgan is a student at the Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women, a fairly typical all-girls school-that is, if every school taught advanced martial arts in PE and the latest in chemical warfare in science, and students received extra credit for breaking CIA codes in computer class. The Gallagher Academy might claim to be a school for geniuses but it's really a school for spies. Even though Cammie is fluent in fourteen languages and capable of killing a man in seven different ways, she has no idea what to do when she meets an ordinary boy who thinks she's an ordinary girl. Sure, she can tap his phone, hack into his computer, or track him through town with the skill of a real "pavement artist"-but can she maneuver a relationship with someone who can never know the truth about her?

My Thoughts:

I'll make this one short.
I didn't really like it. It didn't capture my attention. I mean there were some parts I liked and some I did not. And truthfully, I didn't finish it. But I will give it a second chance if someone can convince me to. Please tell me your opinion on this book. If you give me a good enough reason I will re-read it and give it another review. If I liked it the second time it will get a better rating but if I don't like it, it might get a worse rating. But I'm a nice person, so that might not happen. Anyways I would like to hear what you guys have to say.

the truth about forever by Sarah Dessen

*Summary*:

Sixteen-year-old Macy Queen is looking forward to a long, boring summer. Her boyfriend is going away. She's stuck with a dull-as-dishwater job at the library. And she'll spend all of her free time studying for the SATs or grieving silently with her mother over her father's recent unexpected death. But everything changes when Macy is corralled into helping out at one of her mother's open house events, and she meets the chaotic Wish Catering crew. Before long, Macy joins the Wish team. She loves everything about the work and the people. But the best thing about Wish is Wes—artistic, insightful, and understanding Wes—who gets Macy to look at life in awhole new way, and really start living it.

My Thoughts:

(I'm a little random when I give My Thoughts)
Let me just say that I am a HUGE Sarah Dessen fan! And the cover of this book is just wonderful. I just absolutely adore the cover! Its also the reason why my mom bought me the book in the first place (She loves flowers). Ok, so when I looked at the book description, I honestley thought I wouldn't like it. But when I started to read it, I was hooked. It would usually take me a couple of chapters to be hooked, but not this one. this was actually my favorite Sarah Dessen book. But I havn't read them all yet. Anyways, this will have spoilers. I felt bad for Macy when Jason had her do a job she hated with people who hated her! Well I felt bad for Macy for alot of things (Her Dad, Jason, Co Workers ect). Lets just say I'm a sucker for happy endings. I will not like a book if it does not have a happy ending. (Well... I probably will if the book was good) I loved this book so that should give you a big hint about the ending. This is my first review EVER! So please be nice and leave a comment! THANK YOU! So I guess I gotta rate this book, hmm.. Well how bout I give it a grade.

Im giving this book an...
